Who we are

Hi, we’re Laura and Robert Edwards.

True North Siberians is our small, family cattery on the Front Range of Colorado. We raise Siberian cats with health, temperament, and heart at the center of everything we do.

Our story starts with respect for this breed. Siberians are intelligent, steady, affectionate, and deeply bonded to their people. We first fell for them when close friends brought two Siberians into their home. The more time we spent with those cats, the more we understood how special this breed is. That respect grew into a shared family commitment. We are dedicated to preserving sound structure, dependable temperament, and long-term health in every kitten we raise.

For the past 15 years, Laura has worked in the service dog world, specializing in purposeful breeding, structured socialization, and early development. That experience shapes how we raise our kittens from the first day. We pay close attention to confidence, resilience, and emotional stability, not only looks.

Our kittens grow up in the center of our home, not in a separate building. They hear normal household sounds. They meet visitors. They interact with our dogs and other cats. They learn how to handle change and new experiences in a calm, positive way. This early social experience helps them build trust with people and step comfortably into family life.

We want you to know who your kitten is before you ever bring them home. Curious. Steady. Engaged. Ready to attach.

We are active in the show ring with The International Cat Association (TICA). We believe in having our cats evaluated against breed standards. Strong bodies. Correct structure. Beautiful coats. Confident, social temperaments. These things matter, and we work to protect them.

Health is non-negotiable. Every breeding cat is DNA tested through a veterinary genetics laboratory to confirm clear results for known hereditary conditions. We also screen hearts through echocardiogram to support the long-term health of our lines. We take this seriously, because you deserve a companion who is supported for a lifetime.
