Four Weeks

Jenny & June are four weeks old and full of new skills and curiosity. You see them wobble less and explore more each day. They wrestle with each other, chase tiny toys, and practice adorable beginner pounces on anything that moves. Their balance improves fast at this age and play helps build strength, coordination, and confidence. They also taste new things and Jenny surprised us by using the litterbox on her own for the first time. Both kittens show interest in mom’s wet kitten food. They still nurse, though their world now includes new textures, smells, and skills. At four weeks, kittens start social learning in a big way. They learn bite control, body language, and problem-solving through play with mom and siblings. We give them short, safe adventures outside their nesting box. This supports healthy independence and gentle bonding time with mom. These two are growing beautifully and are right on track with weight and development. Every day brings new progress and new levels of adorable!

Two Weeks

Jenny & June reached two weeks and we see big changes. Their eyes have opened and they look around with slow, curious focus. Their ears sit more upright and they react to soft sounds. They still move with little wobbles, but they push up more and build strength each day. They nurse often and rest close to mom. Steady weight gain shows healthy growth. After each feeding they curl into warm, round bundles and look content with the world. They’re starting to show their early little personalities. Jenny leans into gentle touch. June stretches and snuggles right after. Short handling sessions help them learn trust and comfort with people. Calm surroundings support their growing senses. Two week old kittens stay in a cozy phase. Jenny and June spend most of their time bonding, growing, and practicing tiny movements that lead to confident play later on. Watching them wake up to the world feels sweet and hopeful. These early days set them up for strong social development and happy, confident futures.
